Open Competitions

We run a variety of Open Competitions throughout the season.

Starting in middle of May, Wednesday 12th with a Gents Seniors Open pairs competition. This is a 4 ball competition and the minimum age for entry is 55. The maximum handicap is 24.

The Ladies Senior Team Open follows at the end of May, Thursday 27th; this is a Tri-Am 3 BBB and the minimum age this time is 50. The maximum handicap is 36.

The Gents Open in mid June,Sunday 13th, for players 18 years and over is a team event and the format is 3 man Texas-Scramble . The maximum handicap is 18.


On to July, Thursday 22nd and another Ladies competition, the Ladies Open 3-ball Texas Scramble. The maximum handicap is 36.

The Duke of Montrose in August, Sunday 15th, is a very enjoyable mixed Open Stableford. This is a mixed pairs foursome competition. 

The maximum handicap for ladies is 35 and for gents 24

Finally we have the Gents Seniors Open Team event which is a Tri-Am Stableford   in September, Thursday 2nd. The maximum handicap is 24.

The cost per player is £12 in all competitions.
